Jean Grey is a fictional character from the Marvel Universe. As Marvel Girl, she was one of the founding members of the X-Men.

It's a tricky subject, but the short answer to that question is yes. Several times. Throughout her life, Jean Grey has been killed numerous times, but that hasn't ever kept her from action for very long. Several Plot devices have been used to resurrect her: once it was a clone who was killed. Other times her connection to the Phoenix Force (a cosmic semi-conscious entity that once took residence in Grey and augmented her power greatly) has been credited with saving her. A few times she wasn't really dead, and the rest of the X-Men have found various ways to awaken her. In any case, Jean Grey may hold the record for the most deaths and resurrections in the Marvel Universe.
