American professional hockey player Jay Pandolfo plays for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League.
NHL Career
Pandolfo was drafted 32nd overall in the 1993 NHL draft by the New Jersey Devils. He continued to play in college, for Boston University, for three years after the draft. He joined the Devils for his NHL debut in 1996 and split his first three seasons between the Devils and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Albany River Rats. During the 2004-05 NHL lockout, Pandolfo played 19 games for the EC Red Bull Salzburg in Austria, then returned to his former high school in Burlington, Massachusetts to coach their hockey team. After the lockout, Pandolfo was selected as an alternate captain for the Devils, starting in 2006.
