  • NHL Career

    Bouwmeester was drafted third overall in the 2002 NHL draft by the Florida Panthers. He made his NHL debut that same year and scored four goals and 12 assists in 82 games with the Panthers. During the 2004-2005|05 NHL Lockout, Bouwmeester played in the American Hockey League with the San Antonio Rampage and the Chicago Wolves. He returned to the Panthers following the lockout and was selected for his first NHL All-Star Game in 2007.
