  • Jason Wahler rose to fame as one of the stars from the MTV reality show The Real Orange County and The Hills. He gained public attention after being arrested for assault and criminal trespassing, along with his stint in rehab, and breaking probation.

  • 2006 Tow Truck Incident

    In September 2006 Wahler was driving with a group of friends when their path was blocked by a tow truck moving an illegally parked vehicle. Rather than waiting for the tow truck to complete its work, Wahler is said to have gotten out of his car, punched one of the tow truck drivers and assaulted a Department of Transportation traffic officer that was on the scene. He later pleaded no contest to one count of battery in connection to the incident and was sentenced to two months in jail.   • Jose Alarcon Lawsuit

    Jose Alarcon is the second tow truck driver that was involved in the September 2006 incident. In February 2009, Alarcon filed a lawsuit against Wahler alleging that he, "committed acts of violence, threats of violence, and made racial epitaphs" towards him during the incident in 2006.   • Dario Stevenson Lawsuit

  • Jonathan Wallace Lawsuit

    Jonathan Wallace is the Los Angeles Department of Transportation traffic officer that was assaulted by Wahler during the 2006 incident with the tow truck. In August 2007, Wallace filed a civil lawsuit against Wahler alleging that he assaulted him and violated his civil rights by using racial slurs during the incident.
