Jason Terry is a professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.

Jason Eugene Terry was born in Seattle, Washington, on September 15, 1977, and he went on to attend Franklin High School. In 1999, Terry was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the tenth pick in the NBA draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Jason TerryPro Career
After his first season in the National Basketball Association, Terry was named to the All-rookie second team. His breakout season came during the 2000-2001 campaign, when he averaged 19.7 points, and 4.9 assists. Before the 2004-2005 season, Terry was traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
