Jason Mitchell

Jason Mitchell, a 19-year-old from Florida, has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor. Police believe that Mitchell and three other men were attempting to rob Taylor, and were surprised to find the athlete at home with his girlfriend, Jackie Garcia. One of the men allegedly fired the shot that eventually killed Taylor. The death penalty has been waved in the case because the suspected gunman, Eric Rivera Jr. was a minor at the time of the incident. The four men face life in prison if convicted.
