Jason Lytle

Jason Lytle is a singer and songwriter from Modesto, California who fronted the band Grandaddy from 1992 to 2006. His debut solo album entitled Yours Truly, The Commuter will be released on May 18 via Anti- Records.Billboard: Jason Lytle Finding Life After Grandaddy (February 10, 2009)

Yours Truly, The Commuter is Lytle's debut solo album. Jason Lytle along with bassist Kevin Garcia and drummer Aaron Burtch formed the band in 1992. They were later joined by guitarist Jim Fairchild and keyboardist Tim Dryden. In 2006, after fourteen years together, Grandaddy decided to call it quits.The band released their final album, Just Like the Fambly Cat six months after they announced the split.
