Yours Truly, The Commuter is Lytle's debut solo album. According to Lytle, the title of the album, "...is making reference to the fascination I've had with travelling from one world to another - not so much physically but mentally...wanting to be a civil bill-paying human being, but having to deal with being an irresponsible idealistic dreamer who's trying to make art".Strangeglue: Former Grandaddy Frontman To Release Debut Solo Album (February 11, 2009)Grandaddy
Jason Lytle along with bassist Kevin Garcia and drummer Aaron Burtch formed the band in 1992. They were later joined by guitarist Jim Fairchild and keyboardist Tim Dryden. In 2006, after fourteen years together, Grandaddy decided to call it quits.The band released their final album, Just Like the Fambly Cat six months after they announced the split.
