Jason Isaacs is a British actor who is noted for several roles, including the role of Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter film franchise.
Early Life and Career
Jason Isaacs was born in Liverpool, England on June 6, 1963. He went to a Jewish school. He moved to London, England with his family when he was eleven years old. While studying for law, he accidentally broke into acting when he somehow drunkenly went into an audition house and auditioned for a play. Before he became an established actor in the United States, he was better known for being a TV actor in the United Kingdom. In the United States he became noticed when he made an appearance in the 1998 film Armageddon. Other notable film roles include Isaacs playing as Colonel William Tavington in the 2000 film The Patriot and as Michael Caffee in the highly acclaimed hit Showtime TV series Brotherhood.
