Jason Garrett

Former professional football quarterback Jason Garrett serves as the interim head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. Garrett was named the interim head coach of the team on November 8, 2010, after former head coach Wade Phillips was fired. He takes over the struggling 2010 team in which they've began with a 1-7 record and lost top quarterback Tony Romo, to a broken clavicle.http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/news/story?id=5780262

Immediately after taking over the Cowboys, Garrett attempted to change the dynamics of the team, including requesting they arrive earlier than normal for team meetings so he could explain his intentions and expectations. Garrett also had the players practice in full pads, something the team had not done since training camp. Players responded favorably to the changes, including Gerald Sensabaugh who noted that Garrett "demands greatness," holds players accountable for doing their job and brings "positive energy" to the football team.http://www.dallascowboys.com/news/news.cfm?id=381E0227-A5F9-5AB4-4DFE6253A348D2A2
