American actor Jason Biggs was cast for the role playing "Jim Levenstein" in the first three American Pie films, which quickly became known for his antics with apple pie. He was paid $2 million to reprise the role in the second film of the series. Biggs began his acting career at the age of five, cast in commercials and modeling. He won the Best Younger Actor Daytime Emmy Award for his role on As the World Turns in 1995.
