Jason Bergmann is a right-handed pitcher for the Washington Nationals. After playing baseball ath Rutgers University, the Montreal Expos selected Bergmann in the 11th round of the 2002 amateur draft. After a few years as a minor league pitching prospect in the Expos farm system, Bergmann made his major league debut on August 28, 2005. In his debut, Bergmann struck out three batters.
