American actor and director Jason Bateman started his career a the young age of thirteen on the drama Little House on the Prairie. After small parts on other television shows he found regular roles on Silver Spoons and Valerie which later became The Hogan Family.

Comeback
After a string of failed sitcoms in the mid 1990s Bateman staged a comeback when he was cast as "Michael Bluth" on the Fox comedy Arrested Development. He won a Golden Globe for role in 2005. The show was canceled the next year. Bateman went on to play a supporting role in the Academy Award nominated film Juno.
