  • Canadian professional hockey player Jason Arnott plays for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League. He has served as captain of the Predators since 2007.
  • NHL Career

    Arnott was drafted seventh overall in the 1993 NHL Draft by the Edmonton Oilers. He made his NHL debut that same year and scored 33 goals and 35 assists, earning Arnott a Rookie of the Year nomination. After over four seasons with the Oilers, Arnott was traded to the New Jersey Devils on January 4, 1998. Arnott helped the Devils win the Stanley Cup Championship in 2000 by scoring the double-overtime Cup-clinching goal. On March 19, 2002, he was traded to the Dallas Stars where he played through the 2005-06 season before entering free agency. Arnott signed with the Nashville Predators on July 2, 2006.
