Born in Los Angeles, Jarrett lived his formidable years in Trout Lake, Washington, where he attended junior high and high school.  In 2000 he moved back to California for college.  He graduated with a B.A. in English Literature from California State University, Northridge in 2005.  He studied for an M.A. in Creative Writing at California State University, Los Angeles but took a hiatus because the money was flowing in the wrong direction.

In college, Jarrett worked as a Production Assistant on a handful of music videos for artists such as Iggy Pop, Dave Gahan, Anouk and The Circle Jerks.

In his free time, Jarrett enjoys writing flash fiction for his own Flash Beat series. They are short stories consisting of 500 words or less. He also enjoys making music --> Doyle & Young.

Jarrett currently resides in Los Angeles, CA where he frequents dive bars on occasion and is always on the lookout for a good karaoke scene.  He is also presently developing a handful of fictional web series’ that cannot be explained further due to their hush-hush nature.
