Cook was selected 89th overall in the third round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Tennessee Titans on April 26, 2009.
High School
Cook graduated from North Gwinnett High School in 2005 where he played as a receiver and free safety. He was a first-team All-Conference, All-State and Super 11 Team selection by The Atlanta Journal Constitution. College
He attended University of South Carolina where he played three seasons as a tight end before he declared to forego his senior season to enter the 2009 NFL Draft. In 2006, he played as tight end and wide receiver as a redshirt freshman and was named the Most Improved Tight End during the spring drills. As a sophomore in 2007, he was given the Weight Room Effort Award for the offense following spring drills.
