- 1998: Bill Clinton becomes the first American president to testify as a defendant. Paula Jones accused Clinton of sexual harassment. The court eventually dismissed the lawsuit.
- 1997: After occupying the city for 30 years, Israel returns the city of Hebron to Palestine.
- 1994: 60 people were killed and over $30 Billion in damages as a 6.7 earthquake hits Los Angeles, California.
