Janky Promoters is a comedy film written, directed and starring rapper/actor Ice Cube. The film is about two hip-hop music promoters who attempt to book their first big artist at a California club, but encounter disastrous results.
Janky Promoters marks the first script Ice Cube has written since the popular Friday series of films. Dimension Films chief Bob Weinstein has said Janky Promoters "is going to be R-rated, and it appeals right to the core of Cube's audience."
