Janice Thibodeaux was charged with battery and assault after allegedly assaulting Simon Cowell's ex-girlfriend, Terri Seymour, at the American Idol finale on May 19, 2009. Thibodeaux was said to have asked Seymour if she was Cowell's girlfriend and then attacked and tried to choke her.
