Comedian, actress and radio personality, Janeane Garofalo joined the cast of 24 as a CTU systems analyst during the show's seventh season.

Political Activism
Garofalo is an outspoken atheist and liberal, appearing frequently on cable news networks in 2003 to express her views on the Iraq War and the administration of George W. Bush.
As co-host of Air America radio's The Majority Report, Garofalo continued to express her views alongside Sam Seder. She left the show on July 2006 after a series of on-air arguments with Seder. She continues to call into Seder's show on a sporadic basis.
Film and Television Career
In the late 1990s and 2000s, Garofalo has had a series of prominent film and television roles, including a recurring character on The West Wing and the voice of Colette in Ratatouille. She plays Janis Gold in the FOX television series, 24.
