Jane Lynch is an American actress, writer and comedian. She was born in 1960 in Dolton, Illinois, a village bordered to the north by the city of Chicago. Lynch earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from Cornell University.
