Jane Hamsher is an author, blogger and film producer. She has produced six movies including the 1994 film Natural Born Killers. In 2004, Hamsher started a very successful blog Firedoglake on Blogger.com. She expanded the blog to include contributing bloggers including Christy Hardin Smith, and Amanda Marcotte. In 2006, Hamsher and Firedoglake were given press passes and authorized to blog live from the courtroom during the Scooter Libby trial. In the same year she stirred up controversy after altering an image of Joe Lieberman in photoshop, making it look like he was in "blackface" alongside then President Bill Clinton, and posting it online.
