Czech professional ice hockey player Jan Bulis most recently played for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League. Since 2007, Bulis has played for Khimik Moscow Oblast of the Russian Super League.
NHL Career
Bulis was drafted 43rd overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Washington Capitals. He joined the Capitals for his NHL debut in 1997 and played with the franchise until March 13, 2001, when he was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. Bulis returned to the Czech Republic during the 2004-05 NHL lockout to play for the HC Pardubice in the Czech Extraliga. After the lockout, Bulis played one additional season with the Canadiens, then signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks on July 25, 2006. His contract expired at the end of the 2006-07 season, and Bulis signed with the Khimik Moscow Oblast in the Russian Super League.
