Pugh's audition for the reality competition show Britain's Got Talent aired on the evening of May 2, 2009. Prior to singing, he stated that he was extremely nervous and had not slept in the previous three days. Pugh announced he would be singing "Bring Him Home" from Les Miserables, which came as a surprise to the crowd and judges, as competitor Susan Boyle became a worldwide sensation just days earlier with her performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from the same musical.STV: ...
