  • Jamie Leigh Jones claimed that she was drugged and then gang-raped by Halliburton/KBR coworkers in Iraq in July of 2005. After the government failed to launch a criminal investigation, Jones filed a lawsuit against Halliburton and KBR in May of 2007.
  • Private Arbitration

    In response to Jones' lawsuit, KBR claimed that it was part of her contract that any charges brought against the company would be decided by private arbitration and not a judge and jury.
