Jamey Wright

Jamey Wright is a Major League Baseball player. He is currently a pitcher for the Texas Rangers.

Jamey Alan Wright was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on December 24, 1974. In 1993, Wright was selected by the Colorado Rockies with the 28th pick in the Major League Baseball amateur draft.

On July 3, 1996, Wright made his MLB debut with the Colorado Rockies. In his first season, Wright appeared in 16 games and compiled a record of 4 wins and 4 losses with a 4.93 earned run average. He has played for several teams throughout his career, including the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals and Chicago Cubs. In 2007, Wright compiled a 3.62 earned run average with four wins and 5 losses.
