Britney Spears' father, James Spears, was granted extended conservatorship of her estate. A court made the ruling on March 5, 2008 and it will stay in place until July 31, 2008. Mr. Spears was named co-conservator of Britney's estate after she was taken to the hospital twice in January for psychological evaluation and treatment.
