James Posey is a professional basketball player for the New Orleans Hornets of the National Basketball Association.
Career
James Posey attended Xavier University where he played for the Musketeers men's basketball team. After college, Posey was selected 18th overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 1999 NBA Draft. After more than three seasons with the Nuggets, Posey played for the Houston Rockets and Memphis Grizzlies before being traded to the Miami Heat in 2005. In Miami, Posey became a productive bench player during the Heat's 2006 NBA Finals run to the Championship.
