    James Murdoch attended high school in New York City, New York. He then went on to attend Harvard University, where he studied film and history, but he did not graduate. He did, however, put his passion for sketching comics to use in Harvard's satire publication called the Harvard Lampoon.
  • Early Life

    In 2000 he was appointed chair of News Corporation's Star Television in Asia and turned it from a failing business to a profitable one. In 2003 he was made chair of News Corp.'s BSkyB, and in 2007 he stepped down from this position to take on the role of chairman of News Corp. for Europe and Asia.
