James Franco kisses Sean Penn in the upcoming drama Milk about the story of Harvey Milk, the country's first openly gay elected official. Penn plays Milk and Franco plays Scott Smith, one of Milk's boyfriends. Franco told the September issue of GQ Magazine that the kiss was shot on Haight Street in San Francisco and was captured with a crane shot. Franco joked that the kiss was long enough "that you couldn't help thinking, Oh My God, I'm kissing Spicoli."
