  • Career Highlights

    Mayers began his career in 1990 with the Thornhill Rattlers of the Metro Junior A Hockey League. He then attended and played for Western Michigan University for four years. Mayers was drafted 89th overall in the 1993 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Mayers made his NHL debut with the Blues in 1996, splitting his first three seasons between the Blues and their American Hockey League affiliate, the Worcester IceCats. He earned a full roster spot with the team in 1999, where he has continued to play in the years since. Most recently, on February 27, 2007, Mayers re-signed with the Blues to a three year contract extension. Late in the 2006-07 season, Mayers played his 500th career NHL game.
