Jake Pavelka and fiance Vienna Girardi will dance on the season finale for Dancing with the Stars. Jake was eliminated earlier but as most stars are brought back for the finale, he will return and will begin his dance with partner Chelsie Hightower who he worked with through the season. Jake Pavelka's dancing days are over, at least the ones which are put before the public audience for voting under reality TV show Dancing With the Stars. Jake was eliminated from the competition on April 27th results show. Jake Pavelka first became known to the fans of reality TV when he was one of the 30 initial bachelors on The Bachelorette Season 5. Jake didn’t make it to the finals but his reality TV luck has changed. He was brought back to be "The Bachelor" and after just completing a season where he was the star of the ABC hit show he was announced as a contestant on this season’s Dancing With the Stars.

Jake's April 27 results were not what he had hoped for. Being in the bottom two again on the Tuesday night show, Jake joined Niecy Nash waiting for the final word on which of the two would dance no more. This time it was Jake who had to say farewell to the show. Jake's Monday performance with partner Chelsie only drew 7s for scores and his time on DWTS is now over. On March 1, 2010 ABC announced that Pavelka would join season 10 of Dancing with the Stars and will be partnered with Chelsie Hightower.

• April 12: With a bit of a slip and then a recovery, Jake still managed to bring in a total of 38 out of 60 points. Jake was in the bottom two during the previous week but managed to hold on and will be back for another week's performance

• April 20:Jake does a no pants dance in line with the Ton Cruise scene of Risky Business Jake and Chelsie cha cha to a 23 out of 30 and manage to not be in the bottom two for the week.

Jilted by Jillian Harris on The Bachelorette, Jake made waves about being let go and tried to be brought back to the show by revealing one of the other contestants had a girl friend. He was not successful in his bid to return but was offered the chance to be the next bachelor.

Jake’s season of The Bachelor season 14 was a season full of drama with one of the 25 potential roses, Rozalyn Papa, being removed from the show for alleged inappropriate contact with a producer. Papa’s story still continues to unfold in the tabloids. The lady everyone thought would be Jake’s pick, Ali Fedotowsky bailed on the show before the final round to go back to her job, but has now been announced to be the next Bachelorette.

Pavelka is currently an airline pilot. He began taking flying lessons at the young age of 12, and became an airline captain when he was only 23. He studied with University of North Texas and Embry Engineering University for Aerospace Science but did not complete a degree. Jake grew up in Denton Texas where his family still resides. He has two brothers.
