This is Part 11 of our complete Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Walkthrough, featuring Volcanic Crater and Snowy Mountain.
Volcanic Crater
At the end of the Mountain Pass, you'll find yourself deep within a volcano. Walk across the bridge to the structure in the middle of the lava pit and activate the teleport gate. It seems the Red Sage has disappeared too! The mystery of his disappearance is short-lived: floating near the top of the room are the two evil-looking figures from Misty Island! The kidnappers reveal themselves to be none other than the Dark Sage Gol and his sister Maia, who have finally been driven mad by their exposure to Dark Eco. So, the only two people who can help Daxter turn out to be the bad guys. C'mon, who didn't see that coming?
The objective of the game now switches from undoing Daxter's transformation to stopping Gol and Maia from using Dark Eco to inflict similar results on the rest of the world. Keira will need 72 Power Cells to power the Zoomer's heat shield in order to make it through the Lava Tube, the underground entrance to the villains' citadel.
Bring 90 Orbs to the Miners
The other bridge from the Red Sage's lab (not the one from Mountain Pass) leads to a wide-open cavern, where two dim-witted miners are excavating a MASSIVE diamond. They have a whopping four Power Cells, at a price of 90 Precursor Orbs each. You know the drill, go out and get 90 Orbs at a time (or 360 Orbs all at once) and bring them to the Two Stooges to collect your rewards.

Bring 120 Orbs to the Oracle
The third and final Oracle in the game is located on a ledge below the cable car (which takes you to Snowy Mountain after Keira reactivates it). Climb down some rock ledges to reach it, then cough up the usual unreasonably high amount of Orbs for each of its Power Cells.

Find the Hidden Power Cell
This is a tough one: you must enter Spider Cave and charge up on the nearest Yellow Eco Vent (up and to the right of the entrance, in the main chamber). Immediately drop to the cave floor and roll-jump back to the entrance to the cave as quickly as possible. Once you reach the mining cart rails back in Volcanic Crater, blast open the metal crate above them before your Yellow Eco supply runs out.

Scout Fly Locations
- Immediately to the right of the crater entrance, in a small crevasse.
- On top of a narrow rock ledge between the cable car and the Lava Tube mine carts.
- On a platform in the middle of the Lava Tube carts.
- On a platform in the middle of the Spider Cave carts.
- Directly in front of the Spider Cave entrance, beneath the hidden power cell next to the mine cart tracks.
- In the diamond cave on the way to the miners.
- On a ledge below the cave leading to the miners.

Snowy Mountain
- Once Keira fixes the cable car, you'll be able to access the mountain above the Volcanic Crater. Enjoy the view, but don't let your guard down - you can literally see the end of the game from here, and from this point on, things are not going to be easy. There are loads of Lurkers up here, and some of them are tougher than any you've faced before.
Find the Yellow Vent Switch
Near the Lurker Fort, you'll find a cluster of trees concealing a passageway. Past these trees, you must make it through a Precursor obstacle course complete with ice, platforms, and bronze pistons trying to push you into a bottomless pit. Navigate through here with caution, using your momentum on the ice to get to other platforms, and eventually you'll make it to the Yellow Eco switch. Yellow Eco vents are now active throughout the world.

Stop the Three Lurker Glacier Troops
There are three wooden machines on the glaciers of Snowy Mountain that resemble battering rams. These machines are manned by powerful Lurkers who carry shields and can shoot fireballs. The only way to defeat them is with the help of Red Eco. The first glacier troop is at the top of the avalanche area - weave in and out of the rolling snowballs as you make your way to the top. The second one is near the passageway leading to the Yellow Eco switch. The last one is in a ravine near the Lurker Fort.

Deactivate the Precursor Blockers
Throughout Snowy Mountain, you'll find odd, drum-shaped Precursor objects surrounded by force fields. These things don't seem to serve any purpose, but if you leap above the force field and land on the button on top, they will be deactivated. There are 13 total Precursor Blockers, and once you deactivate them all, you will win a Power Cell.

Open the Frozen Crate
You can't collect this Power Cell until you activate the Yellow Eco vents. Once you do, head to the cave entrance by the base of the avalanche area, near the upper terminal of the cable car. There will be a Yellow Eco vent - charge up, then look for a metal crate lodged in the ice in the upper left. Blast it open and...you guessed it...

Open the Lurker Fort Gate
Near the second glacier trooper, you will cross an icy bridge to find the Flut-Flut again! Take control of the bird and hit the switch to make a set of platforms appear. Cross them quickly, as you're on a timer. Time your jumps well and use the Flut-Flut's flutter to help ensure that you land safely. You'll have to make it across several sets of platforms before you come to the switch opening the Lurker Fort gate.

Get Through the Lurker Fort
After opening the fort gate, you'll have to climb up several icy platforms guarded by Lurkers in order to nab your next Power Cell. Start by climbing the scaffolding directly ahead of you, then dodge the Lurkers you come across and try to keep your footing on the ice as you make your way up the sides of the fort. Be especially careful on the platforms that swivel from side to side on a pole, as they have ice on them too. One wrong jump and you have to start all over again, but if you can make it to the top...

Survive the Lurker-Infested Cave
From the Lurker Fort, go right across a bridge and a frozen pond to a path, marked by a Red Eco vent. Ride a platform into the cave, then get ready to fight off a TON of Lurkers. These leaping Lurkers are small, but they can overwhelm you easily. Grab some Red Eco to strengthen your attack and to protect you somewhat from the Dark Eco boxes in the cave. Make a mad dash through the cave, punching and spin-kicking your way through the leaping Lurkers until you finally reach the Power Cell. Whew!

Scout Fly Locations
- Right at the beginning of the level, in a shallow chasm you would normally leap across.
- In the "frozen crate" cave near the beginning.
- On a ledge leading downwards from one of the glacier troops.
- Among a bunch of trees facing the entrance to the fort.
- On the scaffolding in the middle of the Lurker Fort.
- In the shallow chasm outside the Lurker Fort.
- On the way to the "Lurker Fort" Power Cell, on top of the high ledge at the back of the fort.
