This is Part 8 of our complete Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Walkthrough, featuring Lost Precursor City.
Lost Precursor City
- Across a long bridge made up of wooden platforms, you'll find an elevator leading underwater to the Atlantis-like Lost Precursor City. As you move from room to room in this strange city, you'll have to solve puzzles and defeat Lurkers while avoiding electrified water, Dark Eco, hot pipes, and other dangers.
Raise the Chamber
After the first long slide (from the "colored pipes" room detailed below), you'll come to a room with what I call "ballerina Lurkers." They spin around like a ballerina and are immune to all attacks except dives. Take them all out first, as it will make your life much easier. Once they're out of the picture, find a Blue Eco vent and charge up with it. Scattered through the room are spherical generators: you must touch all five of them quickly while charged up with Blue Eco. Once they're all activated, the chamber in the middle of the room will open. Enter it and dive-bomb the switch to raise the chamber above the surface of the water. Swim to the cliff to the right (careful of Lurker Sharks) and climb up to the top of the chamber to grab the Power Cell. Once you have it, hop back inside the chamber and hit the switch to be taken back into the underwater room.

Follow the Colored Pipes
When you come to a massive room with three jars at the far end, you'll notice that there's a Power Cell in one of the jars (the other two contain Scout Flies). Dive attack the button in front of the Power Cell and watch it get sucked through a pipe. You now have a limited time to jump up a series of retracting wall platforms to reach the Power Cell before it gets sucked back into the jar. Listen to the ticking noise in the background and pay attention to when it speeds up to gauge how much time you have left.

Reach the Bottom of the City
From the chamber room, go through another long slide, collecting Orbs and health while avoiding Dark Eco and hot pipes. At the bottom, you'll find a small circular pedestal above a pool of Dark Eco. Grab the Power Cell on top of it.

Quickly Cross the Dangerous Pool
You'll eventually find a room with a large switch: hit the switch to raise a set of platforms above an electrified pool. The platforms only stay in place for a short time, so cross quickly! Again, listen to the ticking in the background so you know when to panic.

Match the Platform Colors
Wow, these Power Cells aren't in order of appearance at all. Past a hallway with several whirlpools, you'll find a large room with 13 platforms. Take out the spiked flying Lurker before crossing in order to make your life easier. In order to access the Power Cell, you must jump across all 13 platforms to light them up. It's tricky to plan a successful route, but trial and error will eventually get you across. Once all the platforms have been lit up, the Power Cell is yours.

Climb the Slide Tube
After you get the "Reach the Bottom of the City" Power Cell, you'll be in for a nasty surprise. The Dark Eco beneath you will start oozing up! Move quickly here if you want to get out in one piece. Run around the spiraling platforms on the edge of the tube, using Blue Eco to speed you up and to activate launch pads. Take out any Lurkers in your path and leap over hot pipes, being especially careful when you have to leap over retractable platforms. Once you reach a launch pad in the middle, blast off and you'll be safe.

Reach the Center of the Complex
A little more towards the beginning of the level, you'll find a small room with long, curving platforms rotating around a central pedestal. There's Dark Eco beneath the platforms and they sometimes wobble and tip over, so be careful crossing them. The Power Cell is located on the central pedestal.

Scout Fly Locations
- In one of the first small rooms, on a ledge to the right. Use the twin orbiting platforms to reach it.
- In the first large room, on one of the lower platforms guarded by a Lurker that rides piggyback on another one.
- On a ledge in the "colored pipes room."
- On a platform in the same room near a flying Lurker.
- In one of the jars in the "colored pipes room." Activate the pipe, then race to grab the Scout Fly before it's sucked back into the jar.
- In another jar in the "colored pipes room." Same as above.
- In a side room past the "raise the chamber" room, accessible by a couple of rising stove lids.
