This is Part 4 of our complete Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Walkthrough, featuring Forbidden Jungle.

• Past the farmer's house, you'll enter the Forbidden Jungle, which is your first true test of skill. There are plenty of traps and Lurkers here, and mysterious thorny tentacles poke out of the ground in various spots. The mystery behind these aggressive plant growths just might be found in the Precursor Temple at the center of the jungle.

1. Around the side of the Precursor Temple, you'll find a large machine. Use the pumping pistons to reach the top and you'll find a mirror (probably placed there by Lurkers) reflecting a beam of Blue Eco away from where it needs to go. Smash the mirror with a spin kick and inspect the tower that just rose from the ground behind the machine. Press O to take control of the tower and use the left stick to aim the magnifying glass at the top (follow the orange arrow) so that it aligns with the next tower.
2. Follow the beam to find the other towers. The second tower is across the river, the third one is near the jungle entrance, the fourth one is across a bridge, up a trampoline, and atop a ledge guarded by a swinging mace. The final tower is outside the jungle, along the beach path leading back to Sandover Village. In order to get your Power Cell, you'll have to return to the mayor's house.

1. Make your way around the Precursor Temple until you reach a Blue Eco vent. While charged up, approach the small bronze gateway parallel to the temple entrance and the Blue Eco you're channeling will assemble a Precursor bridge out of thin air. Cool!
2. Cross the bridge and use your remaining Blue Eco charge to activate the temple door and the Blue Eco platform inside. From here, make your way up using launch pads, platforms, and trampolines until you reach the top of the temple (underneath a large floating gyro). Enjoy the INCREDIBLE view, then collect the Power Cell.

• From the top of the temple, jump on the switch in the middle to activate an elevator, taking you deep inside the temple. At the bottom, there are several doors - go through the one that doesn't require Blue Eco to open and carefully cross several bottomless pits via the floating platforms. Up ahead, past the aforementioned pits and a now-useless launch pad, you'll find a large switch with electricity crackling from it - jump on top to get the Power Cell and to activate Blue Eco vents all over the world!

• Now that the Blue Eco vents are active, head back to the Blue Eco door at the bottom of the elevator and proceed through. Past yet another set of bottomless pits, you'll come to the game's first...

• Boss - Dark Eco Plant

• It seems the Precursor Temple has become another little shop of horrors. This bad boy is the source of the mysterious tendrils poking out of the ground all over the jungle, and he's just waiting to take a bite out of you. The plant's first attack is to release spiked ladybugs while occasionally taking a snap at you. Be ready to dodge the plant's snapping attacks and run away from the ladybugs (the plant will release one more for each hit it takes from you) until their spikes retract, then destroy them. When the plant tilts its face up and sprouts two leaves, use the leaves as stepping stones and smack the plant in its tulipy head. It takes three hits to finish him off, so hang in there!

1. From the jungle entrance, cross the rope bridge to the left and drop down beneath it to the river to meet the fisherman. He's not having much luck, so you'll have to help him out. Get ready for a fun little mini-game.
2. Move the left stick back and forth to catch green fish (1 lb) and yellow fish (5 lbs), while avoiding purple eels. If you catch an eel or miss 20 lbs of fish, its game over and you'll have to try again. When both fish and eels are swimming by, focus more on dodging the eels than on nabbing fish. Your goal is to catch 200 lbs of fish. Once you do, the fisherman will give you a Power Cell and allow you to use his speedboat, thus granting you access to Misty Island.

• After leaving the fisherman, trudge down the creek, keeping your eyes out for piranhas, until you reach the ocean. Swim out to the small island where a Power Cell is located, and take a moment to watch the sunset over the ocean. This game is just full of eye candy.

• Near the machine you climbed to connect the Eco Beam, there is a ramp on the side of the temple leading up to a Blue Eco door. Find some Blue Eco, then run up the ramp and through the door to find...that's right...

• Power Cell acquired!

1. Through the jungle, on the way to the Blue Eco machine, on one of the tree stumps to the left.
2. Behind the Blue Eco machine.
3. Just below the machine, near a launch pad.
4. On top of a tree stump near one of the Eco beam towers.
5. To the right of the entrance to the Precursor Temple, accessed via a trampoline.
6. In a valley beneath a bridge, near some Dark Eco boxes.
7. On the way to the top of the temple.
