This is Part 6 of our complete Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Walkthrough, featuring Fire Canyon and Rock Village.
Fire Canyon

Once you've collected 20 Power Cells, you'll be ready to move on to the next hub area of the game. Climb the rock face behind the farmer's house to reach the Fire Canyon. You'll be crossing a long river of lava on the Zoomer, and it's not exactly fireproof. Keep an eye on the temperature gauge on the bottom-left of the screen - don't let it fill up all the way!
Reach the End of the Fire Canyon
- In order to prevent the Zoomer from overheating (and exploding), you'll have to fly through blue cooling balloons to reduce the Zoomer's temperature. Of course, staying off the lava whenever possible is also helpful. You can do this by flying over sunken Precursor ruins or by hitting Lurkers and catching air. Wow, Lurkers can survive walking on molten rock?
- Lava stalagmites will often pop up suddenly, so try to avoid running into them. Other obstacles include bottomless pits, open areas of lava that heat you up at an alarming rate if you fly across them, and Dark Eco boxes.
- Ignore the Scout Flies on your first time through and instead concentrate on making it to the other end alive. If you can get across the Fire Canyon without becoming a crispy critter, you win a Power Cell.

Scout Fly Locations
- In plain sight, near the beginning.
- Just past a lava pit, in the middle of the canyon.
- To the left after the canyon curves to the right past a bridge.
- Among several boxes on a narrow bridge of rock flanked by open lava pits.
- Immediately past the aforementioned Scout Fly, in plain sight.
- On the right past a Blue Eco vent, near some Dark Eco boxes.
- Just before the end.

Rock Village
After you activate the teleport gate in the Blue Sage's lab, you'll immediately notice that all is not well in Rock Village. The Blue Sage has mysteriously gone AWOL and the village is under attack from a massive, boulder-chucking Lurker named Klaww, who used a flaming boulder to seal off access to his lair in the mountains just outside the village. Seems the Lurkers are up to more than just causing mayhem and terror for the heck of it. The plot thickens.
Before the Blue Sage vanished, he completed a levitation machine designed to lift the boulder out of the way so Klaww could be defeated. It's going to take 45 Power Cells to activate the machine, so you'll need to go out and collect some more.
Bring 90 Orbs to the Gambler
In the center of the village, you'll find a barrel-clad dude against one of the corners. This is the gambler, and he has two Power Cells. One of them will cost you 90 Orbs. The other must be earned by completing a task in Precursor Basin.

Bring 90 Orbs to the Geologist
Along the area leading to the Precursor Basin, you'll find the Geologist. She talks with an Australian accent and is slightly irritating. Like the gambler, she has two Power Cells - the first one costs 90 Orbs, the second one can be earned by completing a task in Precursor Basin.

Bring 90 Orbs to the Warrior
Near the gambler, you'll find the warrior crying and feeling sorry for himself. He's not much of a warrior - in fact, he's a huge wuss. After listening to a melodramatic story of his failed attempt at fighting Klaww, he'll give you a Power Cell in exchange for 90 Orbs. In addition, he'll reassemble a bridge, making Boggy Swamp and the Blue Sage's levitation machine accessible.

Bring 120 Orbs to the Oracle
On the way to the center of the village from the Blue Sage's lab, you'll spot the Oracle in plain sight. After offering another piece of advice that foreshadows events in future Jak games, it'll once again charge you the small fee of 120 Orbs for each of his Power Cells.

Scout Fly Locations
- Around the walkway outside the Blue Sage's lab.
- Between two of the stone steps leading from the Blue Sage's lab to the Oracle.
- Behind a flaming boulder near the Geologist.
- Near another flaming boulder along the path to the center of the village.
- On a wooden dock past the warrior and the gambler.
- On another dock on the way to Lost Precursor City.
- By the entrance to Boggy Swamp.
