Jael De Pardo is the current producer and team member along side Josh Gates on the Travel Channel's Destination Truth. Jael was born in Barranquilla, Colombia but grew up in Queens, New York. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Prior to joining Destination Truth Jael was a reporter, host and producer with Al Gore's independent media company Current TV. While at Current TV Jael won numerous awards including the Silver Telly Award and the Bronze Remi for her exploration of tidal turbines as an alternative energy source in New York City. In 2004 Jael starred in the critically acclaimed film Subway Cafe, alongside Rick Gonzalez and Crystal Allen.
