Jaden Smith

Child actor Jaden Smith is the oldest son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Smith stars in the Karate Kid remake which will begin filming in Beijing in 2009. Smith made his first mainstream appearance in 2003 on the television program All of Us. His first big-screen role came in 2006 opposite his father in The Pursuit of Happyness. Smith was honored for his work on Happiness with a 2007 MTV Movie Award for best breakthrough performance, a Teen Choice Award for choice chemistry and a Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for best performance by a youth in a lead or supporting role. Smith also appeared in one episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody in 2008 and the remake of the Sci-Fi film The Day the Earth Stood Still.
