Career Highlights
Smith made his first mainstream appearance in 2003 on the television program All of Us. His first big-screen role came in 2006 opposite his father in The Pursuit of Happyness. Smith was honored for his work on Happiness with a 2007 MTV Movie Award for best breakthrough performance, a Teen Choice Award for choice chemistry and a Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for best performance by a youth in a lead or supporting role.
