Jadakiss is an American rap artist who is also a member of the group, The Lox. He recently signed on to Roc-A-Fella Records, after contract negotiations failed with Def Jam Records.
By the age of 12, Jadakiss was already freestyle rapping and competing in competitions. He released his first solo album in 2001. It featured Snoop Dogg and Swizz Beatz. Critics were not fond of the album. Jadakiss completely agreed with their thoughts. His second album, Kiss of Death, had more success. His single "Why?" is his biggest to date. The album eventually reached platinum status.
