Jacqueline Standley is the mother of the New York Yankees relief pitcher Joba Chamberlain.
On May 2, 2009, Standley was arrested for allegedly selling 0.6 grams of methamphetamine on February 11, 2009, to an undercover cop in Lincoln, Nebraska. Standley's apartment has Chamberlain's pictures and posters on many of the walls along with a bulletin board with a Sports Illustrated article posted on it and a yellow t-shirt inscribed with the words "I LOVE you! Your son! Joba Chamberlain." She has sunflower seeds, a Yankee ball cap, family photos, a rosary, a "First Haircut" certificate, Nebraska game stubs and a water bottle with Chamberlain's water still in it, on alters around the room.
