Jaclyn Smith is an American film and television actress who is remembered best for her iconic role in the Charlie's Angels TV series. Smith played Kelly Garrett on the show for its entire five-year run. In 1983, Smith was nominated for a Golden Globe, but lost to Jane Seymour. Smith still acts, but she has diversified. Several home, beauty and fashion lines bear her name, including a clothing line at Kmart. Smith began hosting Shear Genius, a Bravo reality TV series that focuses on hairstyling, in 2007.
Causes
Smith was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003, which was successfully treated. She is currently an advocate for cancer and heart disease research.
