  • Jackson Browne is a singer-songwriter, performer and musician who rose to fame as a part of the Southern California folk music scene of the 1970s. Along with musicians such as James Taylor and Joni Mitchell, Browne helped usher in the era of the confessional singer songwriter and in the process produced some of the best-loved records of the day. While Browne has slowed his output in recent years, he continues to write and perform. In 2004, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by his friend Bruce Springsteen.
