Jackass was an American reality show that aired on MTV. The show featured several cast members doing dangerous, ridiculous, and self-injuring stunts and pranks on each other and strangers.
They Did What?
The majority of the television show was devoted to stunts involving cast members. They would commonly be seen crashing shopping carts, tasering each other and skateboarding. Other segments involved pranks on the public, such as the recurring "Party Boy" segment where Chris Pontius would enter a retail store, turn on music and proceed to strip and dance around.
More Jackass
In 2002 they released a feature film, Jackass: The Movie, which was highly successful at the box office. In 2006, their second film was released, Jackass Number Two. Unused footage from the second film was offered online as Jackass 2.5. The crew also released Jackass the Game in 2007.
