Jack Spade is a line of men's bags and accessories, designed for functionality. The line is overseen by founder Andy Spade, husband of Kate Spade, designer of women's handbags. There is a Jack Spade store in Manhattan, featuring the company's own products, as well as other menswear.
Design
Though men's bags assumed the stigma of the "man purse" sometime in the early 2000s, the Jack Spade line seems determinedly masculine. Colors range from slate-gray to leather-brown, as well as black and khaki. Motifs include nautical themes, and the laptop cases appear as rugged as camping gear. The line includes wallets, messenger bags, leather briefcases, roomy looking travel bags and other designs.
