Career
After initial success behind the camera as a writer and director, Nicholson got his film break, cast as the alcoholic lawyer "George Hanson" in the hit movie Easy Rider in 1969. He has been nominated for an Academy award more than any other male in history. Nominated roles include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Terms of Endearment and As Good As It Gets. -
