Jack in the Box Super Bowl Ad
The Super Bowl XLV commercial for Jack in the Box begins with spokesperson "Jack" stating, "I love America," and continues with shots of Jack and his pets, as he narrates, "I love my pet bald eagle, Brach, my bison Sarah." Shots move on to a pick-up truck with an American flag painted on the side along with the constitution of the United States, and Jack serving on a jury as he continues, "I love my pick-up with the custom Constitution paint job. I celebrate jury duty." Jack is shown dressed as the Statue of Liberty as he finishes, "I love America so much, I'm making an All-American Jack combo." The combo is shown as a double beef-patty burger with cheese, lettuce, pickles and tomato, alongside fries and a soft drink. Next Jack is seen exiting his pick-up while dressed as Abraham Lincoln. The shot zooms in on his face, then out on him dressed in a Mexican sombrero on a beach, dancing under palm trees with other celebrating people. A voice-over notes that buying an All-American Jack combo enters you to win an All-American spring break vacation package to Cancun for you and ten friends.

In the 2009 Super Bowl commercial, the mascot, Jack appeared to have been killed. The Web site featured at the end of the commercial, hangintherejack.com, received so much traffic after it aired on February 1, 2009 that the site crashed. Through out the year Jack in the Box updated Jack's condition with offers of free food occasionally.
