J.J. Redick is a shooting guard for the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association.
Early Life
Jonathan Clay Redick was born in Cookeville TN, Tennessee, on June 24, 1984. He attended high school at Cave Spring in Virginia. He continued his education at Duke University, where in 2004 he led the Blue Devils in scoring. In 2005 and 2006, Reddick was named the ACC Men's basketball player of the year. In 2006, Redick was named the winner of the John R. Wooden Award and Oscar Robertson Trophy. That same year, he was also selected by the Orlando Magic with the eleventh pick in the NBA draft.Basketball-Reference.com: J.J. Redick
Pro Career
In his first season with the Magic, Reddick appeared in 44 games and averaged 6 points and 1.2 rebounds. The following season he appeared in 34 games, and averaged 4.1 points and 8.1 minutes per game.NBA.com: J.J. Redick
