Professional football running back J.J. Arrington plays in the National Football League, most recently for the Arizona Cardinals.

Football Career
Prior to playing in the NFL, Arrington played college football with the California Golden Bears in the NCAA. He led the nation in rushing yards and yards per carry in 2004, earning All-American and All-Pac-10 honors.Official Site of the Arizona Cardinals: J.J. Arrington
After college, Arrington was selected 44th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He made his professional debut that same year, playing in 15 regular season games and recording a career-high 112 carries for 370 yards and two touchdowns. He continued with the Cardinals in the years since, playing in all 16 regular season games in 2006 and 2007. He was limited to only 11 games in 2008, but helped the Cardinals reach Super Bowl XLIII.
