J.D. Roth

J.D. Roth was born April 20, 1968 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He developed an interest in acting at the ago of ten years old and began his career appearing in commercials. He also appeared in the television show Star Search.

Roth became known for his role as host of the popular game show Fun House. The show ran from 1988 until 1991. When the show ended, Roth went on to host GamePro TV. He also started his own production company called Slam Dunk Productions. After the creation of this company he went on to create and host a variety of other series. J.D. Roth will host a new game show coming to ABC this fall called Opportunity Knocks.

Besides working as a game show host and producer, Roth has also appeared in variety of roles. Some of these roles include Melrose Place, The Twilight Zone, Charles In Charge and many others.

J.D. Roth has two sisters. His sister Heidi is also his twin. Roth is currently married to Christine Roth and they were married in 1997. They currently have two children, Cooper and Duncan.
